External wall and roof cladding
Corrugated steel

Windows
Double glazed timber frame

Flooring
Engineered Oak

Interior walls
White washed birch ply

Structure
Closed-panel cassette / Timber Frame

Insulation
Rockwool / Sheep's Wool
Fittings & Fixtures
Our move-in ready turnkey Bothies come complete with fittings and fixtures from leading brands such as Russwood flooring and Anglepoise lights. These were chosen for their performance and design qualities, which match the look and feel of the Bothies.
Scottish furniture maker Colin Parker has also designed a range of furniture items specifically for the Artist Bothy. Each of the pieces was developed in collaboration with the Bothy Stores team to slot neatly into the interior and complement its handcrafted feel.
Owners can choose from a range of products that introduce extra layers of functionality to the space and ensure each Bothy is tailored to the specific needs of its users. These include a wood-burning stove, window shutters and decking.
Services
The turnkey Bothy has provision for water and power supply and is fully wired with lighting and socket points. Water, waste and electrical connections will need to be implemented on site. The Bothy has integral surface water drainage with concealed downpipes. These can be routed to a collection point, soakaway, or to existing drainage, depending on the services and ground conditions at the proposed site.
Customise
All of our Bothies can be tailored to suit your individual style and requirements. The metal cladding can be powder coated in any colour and the timber gable ends are available in various profiles and finishes. The interior walls and ceiling can also be lined with a range of sheet materials that can be stained or painted. Natural clay plasters are great for bringing texture and depth to the surfaces inside the Bothies. Larger windows can also be specified, with options for a sliding door on the side wall and a wider portrait window on the gable end.
With so many options to choose from, we can help to make sure your Bothy looks and performs exactly how you want.
